What is Ulti Box?
Astro introduces the new Ulti Box with a redesigned new interface, Cloud recording feature, enhanced search capabilities and more. Just connect the all new Ulti Box to the Internet and take control of your entertainment and stream up to 65,000 videos on demand, anytime. The features of the new Ulti Box include: · New Home Screen – Everything you see is yours · Discover Video on Demand (VOD) – Discover 60,000 videos, stream anytime, anywhere · Search – Search for your favourite show or video faster and easier · Play from Start – Missed the start of the show? Just restart · Stop Here, Continue There -Stop on one screen and continue on another device · Multi-Screen – Stream seamlessly across any device · Cloud Recording – Record all the programmes you want at the same time We recommend an Internet speed of 10Mbps and above for optimal access to cloud recording, streaming on demand videos and search functions.
Can I watch 4K programmes on the Ulti Box?
No, the Ulti Box does not support 4K content. If you would like to watch Astro’s 4K content, please sign up for an Ultra box www.astropackage.com.my/astro-ultra-box
Am I eligible for the Ulti Box?
You must subscribe to an Astro subscription (NJOI customers are not eligible) in order to get the Ulti Box.
The eligibility criteria for the Ulti Box are as follows:
New Customers
All new Astro customers with a monthly subscription fee of below RM100 will be entitled to select the Ulti Box upon signing up for Astro’s packages.
Existing Customers (Box Upgrade for Primary or Multiroom)
Existing customers are required to have an internet connection at home with a recommended internet speed of 10Mbps and above in order to upgrade your existing box to Ulti Box.
Note:
· Existing Ultra Box customers are not eligible for a swap to the Ulti Box.
· If your existing box is a PVR, you will lose access to all the recordings stored in the PVR
Multiroom (New subscription)
Customers subscribing for an additional multiroom subscription are entitled to select the Ulti Box as part of the subscription.
What is the fee for Ulti Box?
Please see the table below for the offers available for residential customers.
Notes:
· Installation fee includes Government tax.
· Monthly subscription fee does not include Government tax.
· The Ulti Box offers in the table above include a contract Period of 24 months with a pro-rated early termination fee of RM600 (excluding Government tax).
· The installation fees listed in the table above applies for a standard installation of the Ulti Box in your home. Additional charges may apply for non-standard installation.

· Ulti Box installation is free for Astro & Broadband customers (24 months contract). A separate list of TNC’s will be applicable for this offer.
